About Me
Braden
Lost you

I closed my eyes
tears ran down my face
I frowned when I saw
that she had taken my place

I had lost you to her
that I know
But how can I just
let our love go?

The times we've had
both bad and good
I'd keep you for myself
if only I could

You say you love her
but you loved me before
Why can't your love for her die
and you love me forever more?

As I close my mind
on that last memory of you
your smile, your laugh
and crooked teeth too

I know now
that I must let you go
So I'll remember our love
But, I've lost you, though
